Quick Start Guide - VRTT

1. Access the Tracker

Click the "Go to VRTT" button above or the one below to launch the VolleyMetrics Real-Time Tracker (VRTT). This will directly open the application interface.

2. Load Your Team

Upon entering the tracker, you will see the "Upload Player CSV" section. Preparing and uploading a CSV file with your team roster (Name, Player#, and optionally Position) is highly recommended. This streamlined approach significantly simplifies player selection during live game tracking. Alternatively, for a quicker start you can proceed without uploading.

CSV File Format: For successful upload, ensure your CSV file strictly adheres to the following format: Columns: Name, Player#, and Pos (optional). Header row mandatory.

3. Start Tracking!

Use the command console at the bottom of the tracker to log game events. Here are the essential commands:

  • Score Points: Buttons "Team A Scores" and "Team B Scores".
  • Log Serves: [Player#]v (e.g., 5v). Outcomes: 5vo (out), 5vn (net), 5vps (ace).
  • Log Actions: [Player#][action][quality]. Examples: 3p2 (pass), 7h (hit, quality 2 default). Blocked hits: 8hb. Blocks: 2b.
  • Timeouts & Notes: to (timeout), n [your note text] (note).

4. Explore Key Features

The VRTT is equipped with several features designed to enhance your tracking and analysis:

  • Undo Button: Revert last action.
  • Reset Game: Start a new game.
